After awhile OSU doesnt even become a rhythm game anymore and more of a reaction game where you are smashing notes that might have some vague relation to the melody of the songs at hand. I haven't played Respect yet but from what I know with the other djmax games, it relies more on accuracy and less about complex note patterns.
